TTFB is measured at the Maya proxy in the Mumbai (ap-south-1) region — from the moment your text reaches the proxy to the first audio byte sent back, with the speech engine’s own queue time excluded. It does not include the network hop between your servers and Mumbai, so a caller further away will see a little more than this.
